We take great pride in the well being, health and happiness of all of our cats and kittens, our kittens are available for adoption into loving and permanent homes. Our breeding cats are all tested for both (HD) and (HCM)
Our kittens spend their first six weeks in the kitten room (my office) in isolation with their mothers. After their first vaccination they are slowly introduced to the household. When our babies leave us they have been socialized with older cats and children and the usual noises of a normal busy household and farm.
Our kittens are not forcibly separated from their mothers. They usually start to wean themselves between 4-6 weeks of age onto solids and water. Each mother and her kittens remain together until the babies leave our home even though, at this time, the kittens are all totally weaned from mother's milk. We feel that this time spent with mum is a very important time for learning and socializing for each kitten.
Exactly when a kitten is placed is variable and depends totally on when we feel it is ready to leave our home. This usually happens at around 13-16 weeks of age after they been given all there vaccinations and been desexed, though in some circumstances, if we feel the kitten isn't ready it will be a bit later. We assess each and every kitten's readiness for its journey into the big wide world. We give 24 hour ongoing support with any questions or quires you may have.
